I bought this for travel as I enjoy coconut oil for various uses. This product, while having a coconut scent it is very subtle. The tube does get hard, but that is expected, it's coconut oil after all. It closes tightly and has a little plastic washer in the cap that helps seal the fit. The washer would be very easy to lose if not careful, I'm happy with my purchase.
