Every tube, jar, or packet of coconut oil creates real impact in the world, from supporting Fair Trade farmers and factory workers abroad to nourishing hungry kids across the U.S. through our Feeding America partnership. Giving isn’t a campaign for us - it’s a commitment. Giving Tuesday: How Conscious Coconut Gives Back Today & Everyday

At Conscious Coconut, we work directly with our farmers and suppliers, supporting fair trade practices overseas. We are certified through Fair Trade USA, ensuring safe working conditions and just compensation for farmers & factory workers. This ensures their basic necessities are met – including clean water, amenities, and access to education. We also stand strong against forced labor, child labor, and human rights abuse.
We support the Fair Trade Community Development Premium. On top of sales prices, farmers earn an additional premium of up to $90 per metric ton of coconuts sold. These funds are invested into much-needed community projects such as healthcare, education, agricultural training, and business development.
We are committed to raising awareness for childhood hunger in the states. For every product sold, we donate a meal to a child in need through Feeding America food banks. Since our launch at Wanderlust Chicago in 2015, we have fed over 1,000,000 kids through our one-to-one-platform. We couldn't do it without the love and support of our Coconut Family.
