Shea Butter comes from African shea tree nuts which boast an abundance of antioxidants and vitamins. It is rich in five essential fatty acids, phytosterols, vitamins E and D, and allantoin which is good for healing skin irritations. Shea helps to fade scars and can ease symptoms from eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. The combination of components in shea butter also helps neutralize free radical damage, which may help reduce signs of aging.
Coconut Milk Powder is a super hydrator. It is high in essential vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants as well as an excellent source of lauric acid. Its fat helps to smooth skin cells, lock in the hydration and calm irritations.
Tapioca Starch Powder originates from South America and is produced from the cassava root. Tapioca Starch is a great detoxifying agent, drawing out impurities as well as absorbing and retaining moisture. It has a soft, silky feel, is gentle on the skin and does not cause irritations or dryness, making it great for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Coconut Oil boasts an abundance of Medium Chain Triglycerides which are full of natural antibacterial, anti inflammatory and antifungal properties. Coconut oil’s other companion vitamin E is packed with powerful antioxidant properties that act as a barrier between your skin and oxidation from the environment.
