Winter Ritual: Superfood Face Mask

These cold, winter days call for some self-love! Brighten up your complexion with this face mask that you can whip up with simple ingredients found right at home. Made with our favorite superfood, Conscious Coconut Oil, this nourishing mask is packed with nutrients that are just as good for your skin as they are for your body.

2 Tbs. of Conscious Coconut Oil

1 Tbs. of grated or ground organic Turmeric

Juice of half organic lemon (or 4-5 drops of chamomile essential oil if you have sensitive skin)


Mix all parts in a bowl and stir until evenly yellow. The combination of these ingredients work for dry, combo, and oily skin types. For sensitive skin, skip the lemon and replace it with chamomile essential oil.

Apply evenly on freshly cleansed skin and leave on for 10-25 minutes.


The blend of Lauric acid from the coconut oil and lemon juice gently break down dead skin and debris. This will allow the antioxidant power of the turmeric to permeate deeply into the skin, healing all types of inflammation including acne and melasma. If you have sensitive skin, the optional chamomile oil will cool and soothe any irritation. You’re left with a gorgeous, glowing healthy complexion!
